Seven individuals suspected of dealing drugs, including a police asset and a pregnant woman, were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Quezon City on Thursday morning.
In an operation launched in Luzon Avenue in Pasong Tamo around 2 a.m., members of the Quezon City Police District nabbed two drug suspects who were former detainees charged with drug selling and possession. They were both released from jail last June 6.
Two others, including a five-month pregnant woman, were also arrested at the scene.
Seized from them were 10 grams of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P68,000, a weighing scale and other drug paraphernalia.
Shortly after the said operation in Luzon avenue, authorities then swooped in on another area in the corners of Tandang Sora and Congressional Avenue extension which yielded the arrest of three individuals.
The suspects include a police asset who helped police in a previous drug buy-bust operation.
Seized from them were several plastic sachets of suspected shabu.
All suspects are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (with details from Asher Cadapan Jr.)
