Dennis Sytin, brother of slain businessman Dominic Sytin, insists his innocence after authorities tagged him as the mastermind in the killing of his brother.
He said that these accusations are all lies and an injustice for him, his family, mother and even his brother.
“I am being used as a scapegoat while those who are truly responsible for the crime are free and seemingly no longer the subject of investigation,” Dennis Sytin said.
His name was tagged by the Philippine National Police (PNP) when the arrested suspect, Edgardo Luib, identified him as the mastermind of the crime.

Luib was arrested on March 5 for a different crime, but his fingerprints matched the ones found on the motorcycle used as an escape vehicle after Dominic was shot outside the Lighthouse Hotel last November 28, 2018.
The suspect confessed that Dennis and a certain Ryan Rementilla alias Oliver Fuentes contracted him to kill Dominic for P1 million due to a company dispute.
Dennis added that they are prepared to answer the allegations thrown against him once his lawyers read the formal complaint.
PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde said on Monday that they are already preparing the case against Dennis and other individuals involved in the shooting of Dominic.—Aileen Cerrudo (with reports from Lea Ylagan)
